Internal SIH 2023: The Road to Innovation

          

The Smart India Hackathon was organized like a carnival at the Noida Institute Of Engineering And Technology, Greater Noida. The Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) in Coordination with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched the Internal Smart India Hackathon(SIH) 2023 on 16th September 2023 (Saturday) at NIET in College Library and the Idea Lab from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. 

A hackathon is organized to build new and innovative visions considering the situations faced by the government. They conduct SIH every year for the colleges to participate and get unique solutions to unravel the cause of the problems. The government rewards rupees one lakh to the winning team which qualifies for the grand finale. 

A jury panel consisting of at least two evaluators was constructed to mentor and evaluate the teams during the internal hackathon. Each unit consisted of six members including at least one female coder. The teams were given various tasks to perform to see the working prototype, model and software. Therefore the scores were distributed as per the defined parameters. There were seventy-five shortlisted teams presenting on the day of the esteemed event. They were selected on the basis of the ideas they proposed for solving the problem. The participants were ambitious and rigorous, keenly focused on the contest.

Succeeding with innovation isn’t easy, thus participation was appreciated to the fullest. These small steps measure big miles towards a reassuring future. The endeavor of the brilliant students will definitely bring triumph to the present society and the forming future conducting us to the finest way of problem-solving and an efficient system. The whole event was a success and the discussion led the committee to jaw-dropping ideas which were unique and an absolute win.
